All MM2H tiers require property purchase in Malaysia:

  • Silver: Minimum RM 600,000
  • Gold: Minimum RM 1,000,000
  • Platinum: Minimum RM 2,000,000
  • SEZ Forest City: Purchase in Forest City only (foreign buyer minimum RM 500,000)

Important: Properties purchased under MM2H cannot be sold for 10 years from the date your visa is first issued.

Exception: You may sell if upgrading to a higher-value property:

  • New property must be more expensive than current property
  • Must still meet minimum value for your tier
  • Transaction must be approved by immigration authorities
